Institution: Q3 domestic high-end smartphone shipments increased by 12.3% year-on-year, with vivo X90s entering the top ten

IT Home reported on November 13 that Canalys, a market research organization, announced the shipment of high-end smart phones in Chinese Mainland in the third quarter of this year through microblog today.

Canalys' positioning for "high-end smartphones" is for products priced at over 3500 yuan. It is reported that the shipment of high-end smartphones in Chinese Mainland increased by 12.3% year on year in this quarter, while the overall market experienced a year-on-year decline of 4.5%.

Meanwhile, Canalys also conducted statistics on the top ten mobile phones shipped in this segmented market, with specific rankings as follows:

• TOP1-5: Apple iPhone14ProMax, Apple iPhone14Pro, Apple iPhone14, Huawei Mate60Pro, Apple iPhone15ProMax

• TOP6-10: Apple iPhone15Pro, Huawei P60, Apple iPhone13, Apple iPhone15, vivo X90s

According to the above figure, the proportion of smartphone shipments priced above 3500 yuan in the quarter has reached 33% of the overall market share, with Apple and Huawei performing outstandingly, and vivo successfully ranking among the top 10 high-end models.

In contrast, high-end smartphones in Chinese Mainland grew by 21.8% year-on-year in the second quarter of this year, accounting for 35% of the total shipments in the quarter.

In addition, according to the previous report of IT Home, Canalys released a more detailed shipment of Q3 smart phones in Chinese Mainland at the end of last month. In this quarter, shipments to the Chinese smartphone market fell steadily for two consecutive quarters, with a year-on-year decrease of 5% to 66.7 million units.
