IT Home, August 8th - A new Motorola phone, model number "XT2409-5", got network access on August 1st at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in China. The announcement included some specs and photos, suggesting that the device might be the moto S50. This new phone is expected to be available in three color options: Jungle Green, Soft Peach, and Koala Grey. It has a thickness of 7.79 millimeters and weighs 172 grams.
According to the MIIT information, the moto S50 will feature a 6.36-inch OLED curved screen with a resolution of 26701200 and a 4310mAh battery. Additionally, it is powered by a processor with a clock speed of 2.5GHz. According to a tipster, @WHYLAB, this processor is likely the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Enhanced Edition (the same one found in the Honor 90).
The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Enhanced Edition is a powerful processor featuring an 8-core architecture with 12.5GHz Cortex-A710+32.36GHz Cortex-A710+41.8GHz Cortex-A510 and an Adreno 644 GPU. It supports LPDDR4X memory and UFS2.2 flash storage, ensuring a smooth user experience.
In terms of imaging, the moto S50 will feature a 32MP front camera. It is expected to have a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50MP main camera (Sony LYT-700, supporting OIS), a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto lens (3x zoom), providing diverse shooting options for users.
