At the annual Google Developer Conference in May, Google launched the Android Device Stream beta, allowing developers to test applications on real physical devices in Google data centers. This feature provides a more convenient and interactive testing experience for developers by streaming devices directly into Android Studio.

Today, Google announces its collaboration with Samsung, Xiaomi, and OPPO to expand this capability to more devices. These companies will connect their device labs with Android Device Stream, meaning developers will have access to a wider range of physical devices directly within their Android Studio workflow.

The benefits of this collaboration are clear:

• Wider Device Selection: Developers can test their applications on a greater variety of devices, encompassing different screen sizes, operating system versions, and hardware configurations.

• Global Coverage: OEM labs of Samsung, Xiaomi, and OPPO are located globally, enabling developers to choose suitable labs based on their needs.
