Ma, a consumer from Hangzhou, purchased a folding phone from the Vertu boutique in Hangzhou's Mixc City for nearly 30,000 yuan. The phone boasted a "personal butler" function, promising one-touch helicopter calls, restaurant reservations, and more, attracting Ma's attention. However, after using the phone, Ma discovered the user experience wasn't as "smooth" as advertised. Gaming was laggy, and even scanning for payments encountered stutters.

Highly dissatisfied, Ma demanded a return. After purchasing the phone on July 31st, Vertu's sales personnel responded on the evening of August 2nd: "Just bring the earphones and phone in their original packaging, and make sure nothing is missing from the box." However, after two weeks, Vertu officially deemed the phone faultless after inspection and rejected Ma's return request.

According to IT Home, Vertu launched its first small vertical folding phone, the "VertuIRONFLIP," in May. This phone highlights its "luxury watch-inspired design," supports "translation in 48 languages," features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, and carries an official price range of 29,800 to 109,800 yuan.
