The report shows that OPPO and OnePlus combined global smartphone shipments reached 25 million units, with OPPO brand shipments declining by 5% year-on-year, while OnePlus shipments dropped by 22% year-on-year. In terms of products, the price range of $100 to $299 (approximately 713 to 2132 yuan) remains OPPO's strength, accounting for 77% of OPPO's shipments in this quarter.

Despite the decline in shipments, OPPO is expected to continue streamlining its product portfolio and focusing more on its A-series and Reno-series investments in the mid-to-high-end market in the coming quarters. This strategy aims to enhance product competitiveness and further solidify its share in the mid-to-high-end market.

Beyond the domestic market, OPPO is also actively expanding its overseas presence. To resolve patent disputes, OPPO has reached settlement agreements with Nokia and Ericsson this year. The agreement with Ericsson covers important patents for cellular technology and will help OPPO re-enter the European market. However, OPPO still faces patent lawsuits with Panasonic and InterDigital, involving WCDMA and LTE patents and 3G, 4G, and 5G patents, respectively.

The challenges OPPO faces in patent litigation cannot be ignored, but its focus on the mid-to-high-end market and proactive efforts to resolve overseas patent disputes demonstrate its confidence in future development. Whether OPPO can overcome challenges and regain momentum in the future is worth watching.
