Recently, a digital blogger, @DigitalChatStation, revealed the battery life specifications for a new phone from a certain manufacturer powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Reportedly, this phone will feature a 6000mAh battery and support 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. While the blogger didn't explicitly mention the specific model, based on various clues, this new phone is highly likely to be the OPPO Find X8 Ultra.

Previously, Zhou Yibo, the product director of OPPO's Find series, revealed in a conversation with engineers that the OPPO Find X8 Ultra will be thinner than its predecessor, the Find X7 Ultra (9.5mm), and the camera module protrusion will also be smaller. This implies that the OPPO Find X8 Ultra's back panel will be flatter, the overall body will be more streamlined, and the grip will likely be more comfortable.

Additionally, Zhou Yibo responded to a user's question about the back cover material of the Find X8 Ultra. He stated that changing the previous combination of vegan leather and glass to something else is "no problem," suggesting that the Find X8 Ultra may switch from vegan leather to a more durable frosted glass material.

Beyond its design, the OPPO Find X8 Ultra boasts several other highlights. The phone is expected to be equipped with a 2K slightly curved straight screen and a 50-megapixel quad-camera setup. The ultra-telephoto lens may no longer use the previous IMX858 small-bottom CMOS sensor.

According to previous leaks, the OPPO Find X8 series will come in three models: the standard edition, the Pro edition, and the Ultra edition. The standard and Pro versions will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 processor, with an anticipated release in October this year. The Ultra edition, on the other hand, will be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and positioned as an imaging flagship, scheduled for launch in the first quarter of next year.
