realme has officially announced today that it has begun pushing the brand-new "Live Photos" feature to the realme GT6 model, with a phased rollout expected to be completed by August 28th. This Live Photos feature offers a variety of customizable options, including focal length, filters, and covers, while also featuring built-in beautification effects, enabling users to capture photos with greater personalization. Notably, the cover photo supports ProXDR display, further enhancing the visual impact of the images.
In June, Xu Qi, Vice President of realme, Global Marketing President, and President of China, mentioned that realme would be integrating the Live Photos feature into realmeUI 6.0 on multiple models in the future, gradually covering them. These models include: realme GT5 Pro, realme GT5, realme GTNeo6, realme GTNeo6SE, realme GTNeo5, realme GTNeo5SE, and realme 12Pro+.
As the first model to be equipped with Live Photos, the realme GT6 features a 16MP front camera and a rear camera system consisting of a 50MP main camera (IMX890) featuring OIS optical image stabilization and an 8MP wide-angle lens. Its screen is jointly developed by realme and BOE, featuring a custom-made S1+ luminous material, achieving a peak brightness of 6000 nits. Combined with the ProXDR display of Live Photos, it delivers an exceptional visual experience.
The introduction of the "Live Photos" feature not only enriches the photography capabilities of the realme GT6 but also provides users with more creative and personalized ways to express themselves through images.
