Today, a new iQOO device with model number V2408A has been certified, which is the upcoming flagship iQOO13. This new product is expected to debut in Q4 and will become the most powerful straight-screen flagship in the industry.
According to the digital blogger Digital Chat Station, iQOO13 will only have a standard version, no Pro version. It will adopt a 2K pure straight-screen solution and be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 processor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen4 is built on the self-developed Oryon CPU core and features two 4.09GHz high-performance cores and six 2.78GHz efficiency cores, along with an integrated Adreno830GPU.
In early Geekbench 6 tests, the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 achieved a single-core score of 2884 and a multi-core score of 8840. Compared to the Apple A17 Pro, the Snapdragon 8 Gen4's single-core score is comparable, but its multi-core score is significantly ahead. In addition, there are rumors that the frequency of Qualcomm's Adreno830GPU will be increased to 1250MHz, compared to the 1GHz operating frequency of the AdrenoGPU in the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 leading version, therefore, its performance will be at least 25% higher.
