A Technological Feast in the Aroma of Coffee: SharafDG Teases New Macro Experience on iPhone 16 Pro/Max
Dubai's prominent consumer electronics retailer, SharafDG, recently released a commercial video showcasing the iPhone 16 Pro/Max, using a cup of coffee as a starting point and focusing on the device's camera module. The video features a downward plunge, transforming three coffee drops into three camera lenses, hinting at the new macro photography experience that the two phones will offer.
Apple has been exploring the potential of macro photography with its ultra-wide-angle lens since the iPhone 13 Pro/Max, aiming to lead the macro photography trend. This time, the iPhone 16 Pro/Max's ultra-wide-angle lens will introduce a new 48MP CMOS, expected to provide users with more macro shooting options and detailed capture.
Compared to the previous generation iPhone 15 Pro/Max, two of the three lenses on the iPhone 16 Pro/Max remain largely unchanged. The main camera lens continues to feature 48MP pixels, f/1.78 aperture, and 0.7m four-in-one pixels at 1.4m. The telephoto lens boasts 12MP pixels, with the iPhone 16 Pro's focal length upgraded to 5X, with LG Innotek expected to be the supplier of the zoom module.
However, the wide-angle lens has received a significant upgrade. For the first time, it features a 48MP CMOS, an f/2.2 aperture, and support for 48MP ProRaw photography, promising users greater detail capture in macro shots.
Additionally, it's been reported that photos taken with the iPhone 16 Pro/Max will support the new JPEG-XL format and can record 120 frames per second 3K Dolby Vision video. These new features undoubtedly enhance the imaging performance of the iPhone 16 Pro/Max, providing users with a richer and more creative shooting experience.
On September 10th, we will be closely following Apple's annual fall product launch event, providing live coverage, and witnessing this technological feast alongside numerous Apple fans. Stay tuned!
