The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is drawing closer, and information about the device is becoming clearer as it continues to pop up in recent times. Following FCC certification and leaked real-life images, the Galaxy S24 FE has recently made an appearance on the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) platform, further revealing design details and specifications of the device.

According to the information on the WPC platform, the U.S. version of the Galaxy S24 FE with model number SM-S721U supports 15W wireless charging, aligning with the Galaxy S24. Considering this is the U.S. version, other global variants of the Galaxy S24 FE are also expected to feature 15W wireless charging. Additionally, the device is anticipated to support 25W wired charging.

Beyond wireless charging specifications, the certification information on the WPC platform provides insights into the design details of the Galaxy S24 FE. The device features a punch-hole display on the front, with the selfie camera positioned at the top center of the screen. The edges of the phone are flat, maintaining consistency with the design style of the Galaxy S24. The rear houses a triple-camera setup, aligning with the design showcased in alleged Galaxy S24 FE marketing materials leaked last month.

Interestingly, Samsung recently updated its GoodLock camera assistant module, not only adding support for the Galaxy S24 FE but also revealing that the device will come equipped with OneUI 6.1. Previous reports suggest that the Galaxy S24 FE might be powered by the Exynos 2400e processor and will be available in five color options, with one of them being described on the WPC platform.

Rumors suggest the Galaxy S24 FE might sport a 6.7-inch OLED 120Hz display with a peak brightness of 1900 nits and pack a 4565mAh battery. Furthermore, the device is expected to support 9W reverse wireless charging. Samsung is also anticipated to bundle several Galaxy AI features with the Galaxy S24 FE.

Overall, with the Galaxy S24 FE making its appearance on the WPC platform, along with previous leaks like FCC certification, real-life images, and detailed dimensions, the device's launch seems imminent. Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S24 FE sometime in October, alongside the Galaxy Tab S10 series. This more affordable flagship offering will provide consumers with a wider range of options.
