According to recent reports, Apple is planning to equip the upcoming iPhone SE4 with an OLED display. The company is currently in negotiations with several OLED panel suppliers, including Samsung Display, BOE, and LG Display. All suppliers have submitted bids, but Samsung Display withdrew from negotiations due to pricing concerns. Ultimately, Apple has chosen BOE and LG Display to supply the screens for the iPhone SE4.
It is understood that the iPhone SE4 will adopt a similar design to the iPhone 14, featuring a 6.1-inch OLED display with a notch for Face ID. However, the refresh rate will remain at 60Hz. The phone will have an aluminum frame and feature a single 48MP rear camera.
In terms of specifications, the iPhone SE4 will use the same battery as the iPhone 14 and will be equipped with an action button, a USB-C port, and an A18 chip.
