September 9, 2023 - Fast Technology reported that Zhou Wei, Vice President of Vivo's OS products, announced in a recent post that Vivo will unveil its new Blue Heart large language model at its Developer Conference next month. The new Blue Heart model encompasses various types of large models, including language, speech, vision, multi-modal, and on-device models. Zhou emphasized that AI, as a foundational technology, will be the core driving force behind mobile operating system development in the next five years, playing a crucial role in enhancing various modules like multimedia entertainment and collaborative work. Vivo will also integrate Blue Heart's system-level and scenario-based experience into its latest OriginOS 5 operating system.

First announced in early November 2023, the Blue Heart large language model includes five different versions: Blue Heart 1B (1 billion parameters), Blue Heart 7B (7 billion parameters), Blue Heart 70B (70 billion parameters), Blue Heart 130B (130 billion parameters), and Blue Heart 175B (175 billion parameters). Among these, the 7B model is designed for smartphones, serving as a dual-purpose model for both on-device and cloud use, excelling in tasks like language understanding and text creation.

The Blue Heart Xiao V intelligent assistant embodies the direct application of the Blue Heart large language model. It supports three convenient interaction methods: voice, text, and drag-and-drop, and also features a floating state allowing users to activate or minimize it as needed.
