According to tech media outlet 9to5Mac, users who upgrade to iOS 18RC will notice a new pause button in the bottom left corner of the screen (in portrait mode) when recording videos. Tapping this button temporarily pauses video recording, and tapping it again resumes recording. After pausing video recording, a "Paused" indicator appears at the top of the user interface, below the recording duration, while the pause button transforms into a record button, signaling that pressing it will resume recording.
