According to GeekBench data, the device scored 3018 points in the single-core test and an impressive 7751 points in the multi-core test. Compared to the previously reported iPhone 16 benchmark scores, the single-core result is slightly lower, but the multi-core score is about 1000 points higher. Notably, the motherboard codename for this benchmark device is D94AP, which differs from the iPhone 16 (D47AP). Considering the benchmark scores, it is expected that this model belongs to the iPhone 16 Pro series.

Compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 16 Pro series also shows significant benchmark improvements. Compared to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the new model's single-core score is 189 points higher, representing a 6% increase. In terms of multi-core performance, it saw a 775-point improvement, exceeding an 11% increase.

It's understood that both the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are powered by the A18 Pro chip, manufactured using TSMC's second-generation 3nm process. This chip boasts a 6-core CPU, comprising two performance cores and four efficiency cores. Compared to the A17 Pro, it offers a 15% performance gain while reducing power consumption by 20%. Furthermore, the A18 Pro features a 6-core GPU, operating 20% faster than the A17 Pro.

The leaked benchmarks further solidify the iPhone 16 Pro series' robust performance prowess. While the single-core score may be slightly lower, the significant multi-core score improvements indicate that the new model boasts stronger capabilities in multi-tasking and graphical processing. This suggests that the iPhone 16 Pro series will deliver a smoother and more exceptional user experience.

Moving forward, with the release of more reviews and user experience sharing related to the iPhone 16 series, we can expect a more comprehensive understanding of this new phone's actual performance. Ultimately, this will help determine whether it meets user expectations.
