At today's Huawei Autumn Full-Scenario New Product Launch Conference, Huawei officially announced that the HarmonyOS NEXT operating system will begin public beta testing on October 8th. The first batch of compatible devices includes Mate60/X5 series phones and MatePad Pro 13.2-inch series tablets. Previously, at the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services held on September 14th, Chen Xinxin, General Manager of Huawei's HarmonyOS Industry Solutions, revealed that Huawei's "pure-blood" HarmonyOS system, HarmonyOS NEXT, which is completely independently developed, natively secure, and natively intelligent, will launch its official version in the fourth quarter of this year.
According to previous reports from IT Home, HarmonyOS NEXT began pushing Beta versions to developers in June this year, and Beta versions were pushed to ordinary consumers in August. This public beta signifies the imminent arrival of HarmonyOS NEXT's official version, with the Huawei Mate70 series becoming the first devices to feature the official version. Other devices will gradually receive the official version starting in the fourth quarter.
