- The Redmi Note 14 series will officially launch on September 26th, with the Note 14 Pro+ debuting the third-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s, promising stable high frame rates at 120fps in "Honor of Kings." This chip is built on a 4nm process, boasts a 12.5GHz+32.4GHz+41.8GHz CPU architecture, and integrates the Adreno 810 GPU. Compared to the previous generation Snapdragon 7s, the Snapdragon 7s Gen3 offers a 20% increase in CPU performance, 40% in GPU performance, and 30% in AI performance, while reducing power consumption by 12%.
Beyond its powerful performance, the Snapdragon 7s Gen3 supports 16GB of memory and UFS3.1 flash storage, and incorporates generative AI for AI noise reduction, 200MP cameras, and 4K HDR video shooting. Network-wise, the Snapdragon 7s Gen3 supports 5G millimeter wave and Sub-6, SA and NSA, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and more.
Wang Teng, Redmi's Director of Products, mentioned that mid-range phones often need to compromise between performance, battery life, and other aspects due to cost constraints. However, the third-generation Snapdragon 7s achieves flagship-level process and power consumption, allowing for a balance of performance and quality while paired with the 6200mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery, making it a "battery monster."
This signifies that the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will excel in performance, battery life, and imaging, bringing users a smoother, more durable, and higher-quality experience.
