On September 24th, Jiang Hairong, CMO of Honor Terminal Co., Ltd. China, revealed in a post that the Honor X60 series of smartphones will be released in October, stating that the devices are "tough". Subsequently, blogger @Ruge Plays Digital shared a post today stating that Honor will slightly reposition the standard edition of the X60, with the X60 Pro taking over the original standard edition's positioning. On the other hand, blogger @Wangzai Baishi also confirmed the existence of the X60 Pro model.
IT Home noticed that Jiang Hairong, CMO of Honor Terminal Co., Ltd. China, responded to a netizen's inquiry about the launch of an "X60GT" model in the comment section of a Weibo post on October 3rd, stating "It must be released." This information also confirms the existence of the X60GT model.
Looking back at the Honor X50 series, there were three main models released: Honor X50, Honor X50 GT, and Honor X50 Pro. The standard edition featured the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, while the GT and Pro versions both came equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
According to current leaks, the Honor X60 series will continue the naming strategy of the X50 series, launching a standard edition, a GT edition, and a Pro edition. The standard edition might adopt a lower-end processor, resulting in a slight downward repositioning, while the GT and Pro versions will continue to feature flagship-level processors for powerful performance.
The Honor X60 series is expected to be officially launched in October, with specific release date and configuration details yet to be confirmed by the company.
