The OnePlus 13 smartphone series is set to launch this month, with official teasers and leaks emerging consistently. Among the most noteworthy features is the inclusion of the "second-generation Oriental display." Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, stated, "From exceeding to exceeding expectations, to be the world's leading screen," highlighting the ambitious target set during its development.

It is reported that the OnePlus 13's "second-generation Oriental display" utilizes a customized, latest high-end luminescent material, X2, incorporating the most advanced technology in the display field. This results in significant advancements in transparency, brightness uniformity, color consistency, power consumption, and lifespan. Additionally, there have been notable enhancements in core user scenarios such as outdoor display under sunlight, eye protection, and smooth touch responsiveness.

Li Jie previously revealed, "The world's first "second-generation Oriental display" has successfully lit up!" emphasizing its performance surpassing its predecessor. Notably, the OnePlus 12, equipped with the "Oriental display," was the first to incorporate X1 luminescent material, coupled with OPPO's first-generation display chip, DisplayP1, achieving a peak brightness of 4500 nits and doubling the average screen lifetime in the industry. Moreover, the display also received DisplayMate A+ certification, breaking 18 records.

OnePlus officially announced a screen product launch event in collaboration with BOE on October 15th at 2:00 PM, where more details about the second-generation Oriental display will be unveiled.

Beyond the advancements in display technology, the OnePlus 13 has also undergone upgrades in its other hardware configurations. Leaks suggest a metal mid-frame combined with a glass body, a 2K BOE 8TLTPO deep-curved screen on the front, supporting ultrasonic fingerprint recognition. The rear camera features a centrally positioned circular design, with the main camera being the LYT808, along with a 50MP IMX882 ultrawide camera and a 50MP IMX8823X periscope lens, all supporting Hasselblad Master Imaging.

The OnePlus 13 is expected to pre-install ColorOS 15, feature IP68/69 dust and water resistance, and be equipped with a 0916T motor. In terms of battery life, the capacity is expected to significantly increase to 6000mAh, aligning with the 6100mAh battery capacity of the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro. The device is also anticipated to support 100W fast charging, with a charging speed potentially reaching a full charge in approximately 36 minutes.

Furthermore, the OnePlus 13 has obtained 3C certification, with the model number PJZ110. Regarding core specifications, the device will be powered by the latest generation of Snapdragon flagship platform, promising notable performance enhancements. There are also rumors suggesting a 24GB+1TB storage configuration, but the specifics remain to be confirmed at the launch event.
