On October 17th, OPPO Developer Conference witnessed the official launch of ColorOS15. This brand-new operating system centers around the theme of Ultra-Fast, Ultra-Free, completely restructuring the Android system architecture from the bottom layer to the application layer, resulting in an unprecedentedly smooth user experience.

The enhanced smoothness of ColorOS15 stems from its self-developed "Smooth Dual Engine" consisting of Aurora Engine and Tide Engine. The Aurora Engine, equipped with a system-level rendering and drawing architecture, boasts the industry's first parallel animation, delivering a more refined and silky smooth system-level aesthetic flow. Meanwhile, the Tide Engine, being the first chip cache intelligent dynamic allocation technology in Android, ensures a light and smooth application experience, maintaining fluidity and energy efficiency even under heavy loads.

Through joint development with partners, OPPO has transcended the limitations of chip cache technology, restructuring the cache allocation mechanism and integrating large model technology to achieve faster and more accurate dynamic computing resource allocation. This innovation not only yields significant energy efficiency improvements but also empowers ColorOS15 to exhibit exceptional smoothness across various scenarios.

To accurately measure smoothness, OPPO collaborated with the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, to jointly define the "5-Zero Smoothness Experience Standard." Tests demonstrate that in two rounds of opening/closing 20 applications, ColorOS15 achieves 0 crashes, 0 hiccups, 0 frame drops, 0 latency, and 0 touch interruptions, providing users with a more stable and reliable daily usage experience.

The release of ColorOS15 signifies a new milestone in Android system smoothness. This "Cadbury of the Phone World" is set to make its global debut on the OPPO Find X8 series on October 24th at 7 PM, leaving us all eagerly anticipating the revolutionary experience it promises to deliver.
