On October 25, 2024, the "Digital Connectivity Valley: Connecting the World with Blockchain" 2024 Industrial Blockchain Conference was grandly opened in Jing'an, Shanghai. Liu Duo, Deputy Mayor of Shanghai, attended the conference and unveiled the "Digital Connectivity Valley," marking the official launch of the first themed industrial park in China focused on the blockchain industry.

In her address, Xu Huili, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Municipal Government, emphasized that in recent years, Shanghai has been comprehensively promoting blockchain technology research, industrial development, application innovation, and ecosystem cultivation, aiming to build a national highland for blockchain innovation development, scenario application demonstration, and technological standard origination. As an important carrier area for the construction of the "National Blockchain Application Demonstration Zone," Jing'an District has been actively building an industrial ecosystem, continuously enriching application scenarios, and contributing to the development of Shanghai's blockchain industry. In the future, Shanghai will support the high-standard construction and development of "Digital Connectivity Valley," striving to make it a core hub node for "connecting the world with blockchain" in Shanghai and even the whole country.

Yu Yong, Secretary of the Jing'an District Committee, pointed out at the conference that Jing'an District, following the central and municipal party committee's decisions and deployments, has taken the lead in cultivating the blockchain industry, successfully being selected as a "National Comprehensive Pilot for Blockchain Innovation Applications," and has initially formed a resource-rich and ecologically active industrial system. Under the strategic deployment of Shanghai, Jing'an District is working towards the goal of building the National Blockchain Application Demonstration Zone and making every effort to promote the construction of "Digital Connectivity Valley."

Located in the central area of Shanghai's "Middle Ring Road Two Wings Innovation and Creativity Gathering Belt," "Digital Connectivity Valley" covers an area of approximately 120,000 square meters, with an office space of 66,000 square meters.
