According to a report from the Sci-tech Innovation Board Daily, sources from the supply chain have revealed that Huawei is ramping up production of the Mate70 series, preparing for a November launch. The planned production volume of certain components in November is estimated to be about 50% higher compared to the same period for the Mate60 series.

Yu Chengdong, Executive Director and Chairman of Huawei's Consumer Business Group, mentioned on June 21st that the Mate70 series will debut the official version of HarmonyOS NEXT, with the official release for other devices scheduled to begin in Q4. This signifies that the Mate70 series will be the first smartphone to feature the official version of HarmonyOS NEXT.

As a reference, Huawei launched the "HUAWEI Mate60 Pro Pioneer Program" on August 29, 2023. The prices of the Mate60 series were subsequently announced and sales commenced in September 2023. The accelerated production of the Mate70 series indicates Huawei's continued focus on the high-end smartphone market in November.
