Honor has been very active this year. After releasing the digital flagship Honor 200 series in May, the Honor 300 series and Magic7RSR Porsche Design Edition are now gearing up for launch. Recently, Honor CEO Zhao Ming confirmed that the Honor 300 series will be the "most powerful Honor digital series ever," and also revealed that the new phones will have a "particularly beautiful" appearance.
According to digital blogger @Digital Chat Station, the Honor 300 series will offer different configurations, including a standard version, Pro version, and Pro+ version. The Honor 300 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8Gen3 processor, a 1.5K four-curved screen, a 50-megapixel dual front camera, a 50-megapixel large bottom-sensor triple rear camera, and a 50-megapixel upright telephoto lens. The standard version is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7-series processor and will feature a straight screen design. The Honor 300 Pro+ will upgrade to a 1.5K display and will be equipped with single-point ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, the Snapdragon 8Gen3 processor, and support for 100W wired charging and wireless charging. It will also feature a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.
It's noteworthy that the entire Honor 300 series will support 100W wired charging, focusing on thin and light image capabilities, and the battery capacity is expected to be relatively small.
In addition to the Honor 300 series, the Honor Magic7RSR Porsche Design Edition has also passed telecommunications certification and is expected to be released in December. This phone continues the dual satellite communication functionality of the Honor Magic7 series, supporting Beidou satellite text messages and AI satellite call noise reduction for TianTong satellite communication, allowing you to stay connected even without network signals.
In terms of imaging, the Honor Magic7RSR Porsche Design Edition will be equipped with an OV50K variable aperture main camera and a 200-megapixel periscope lens, further enhancing the photographic experience. Considering the starting price of 9999 yuan for the previous generation Honor Magic6RSR Porsche Design Edition, the new phone's price is expected to be similar, but due to the increase in the cost of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, the actual price will be subject to official announcement.
Both the Honor 300 series and the Honor Magic7RSR Porsche Design Edition will come pre-installed with the Honor MagicOS 9.0 full-scenario AI operating system and will be equipped with the YOYO AI, which supports 900 tasks to be automatically executed. Users can use the "one-sentence" feature to achieve operations like ordering takeout, sending files, and canceling automatic renewals.
In summary, Honor will launch at least two new phones by the end of this year. The Honor 300 series will bring powerful performance and a new imaging system, while the Honor Magic7RSR Porsche Design Edition will upgrade in terms of dual satellite communication and imaging, and will be equipped with the more intelligent YOYO AI. If you are planning to upgrade your phone, you might want to look out for these two upcoming Honor phones.
