Redmi is gearing up to release the new K80 series smartphones. Comprising the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro models, the lineup is expected to be positioned at a higher tier, skipping the Redmi K80E version. Reports indicate that the K80 series will feature numerous upgrades, including a fresh design, robust hardware, and faster charging speeds. However, these improvements could potentially lead to a price increase.

Aesthetically, the Redmi K80 series will sport a centered punch-hole display paired with a straight-edged metal frame. It will boast a 2K resolution screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The rear camera module will undergo a design transformation, shifting from the previous rectangular DECO to a circular arrangement positioned in the upper left corner.

In terms of hardware, the Redmi K80 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The Redmi K80 Pro, positioned higher in the lineup, will receive a further upgrade to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy. Both models will support 120W wired fast charging, while the Redmi K80 Pro will additionally feature ultrasonic in-display fingerprint unlocking.
