Today, Xiaomi Surge OS' official Weibo account announced that the Xiaomi Surge OS2 is undergoing a new wave of upgrades, with both stable and Beta versions being rolled out to more devices. According to the announcement, the Redmi K70 Supreme Edition and Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 will receive the stable version of Xiaomi Surge OS2 starting today. Meanwhile, the Redmi K70, Redmi K70 Pro, and Redmi K70E will begin receiving the Beta version of Xiaomi Surge OS2, also starting today. Additionally, Xiaomi has announced that the Xiaomi MIX Fold4 and Xiaomi MIX Flip foldable phones will receive the Beta version soon, no later than November 20th.

Notably, this upgrade focuses on the HyperCore Surge kernel, which is the foundation of Xiaomi Surge OS2, emphasizing lightness, fluency, exceptional performance, and ultra-low power consumption. The system introduces a newly developed micro-architecture scheduler that truly separates the "instruction execution cycle count" and "memory access latency cycle count" for task execution at the chipset level. This technology shortens the completion time for the same graphic functions from 576ms to 48ms, a 12-fold efficiency improvement.
