Starry Sky Meizu Technology Co., Ltd. recently announced that its FlymeAuto in-car system will support a wider range of smartphones, including major brands like Huawei, Apple, Xiaomi, vivo, OPPO, and Samsung. This significantly boosts FlymeAuto's user base and market competitiveness. Official teaser posters highlight support for CarPlay, Huawei HiCar, and iCCU Carlink, promising a seamless cross-platform experience. The posters emphasize seamless integration with Apple's native CarPlay ecosystem and Siri voice assistant, Huawei HiCar's effortless connection and app fluidity, and iCCU Carlink's integrated boundless desktop and small window modes for a native-system-level experience.

Data released by Starry Sky Meizu shows that by the end of February 2025, FlymeAuto had been integrated into over 600,000 vehicles across 22 models. February alone saw 100,361 new vehicle integrations, marking five consecutive months of leading the industry in new user additions and boasting the fastest ecosystem user growth rate. This demonstrates FlymeAuto's strong momentum and robust ecosystem development capabilities.

On April 1st, the LYNK & FlymeAuto 1.8.0 update was rolled out, adding support for Apple CarPlay (including Siri control), enhancing in-car entertainment and user interaction. Furthermore, the Geely Galaxy L6/L7 models received an OTA update last month for the FlymeAuto vertical screen intelligent cockpit system, providing a more modern driving experience.

Beyond FlymeAuto updates, Meizu's smartphone lineup is also expanding. This month, the highly anticipated Meizu Note 16 series is set for release. Pre-release information reveals the series underwent nearly one million quality tests, underwent nearly one hundred experimental verifications and over 480 hours of rigorous environmental testing, ensuring superior quality and reliability. The series will also feature advanced AI capabilities and is now available for pre-order both online and offline.

At MWC 2025, a mysterious new Meizu phone was unveiled, featuring a pure white back cover, a centered circular camera module ("Oreo" style) within an octagonal design, incorporating a ring flash and triple rear cameras. Recent leaks suggest this is likely the Meizu Note 16 series.

To celebrate Meizu's 22nd anniversary, the Meizu 22 series will launch this summer. The Meizu 22 standard edition is expected to feature a 6.55-inch FHD+ Samsung AMOLED straight screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a battery exceeding 5500mAh with 80W fast charging, and IP68 dust and water resistance. Targeted at the 3000 Yuan price point, it aims for high cost-effectiveness.

The Meizu 22 Pro will reportedly boast a 6.8-inch BOE OLED straight screen with a 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 3000 nits; a battery exceeding 6000mAh with 80W fast charging, and IP68/69 dust and water resistance. Targeting the 4000 Yuan price point, it aims for the high-end market.

Imaging-wise, the Meizu 22 standard edition is expected to feature a 50MP Sony main camera + 50MP ultra-wide-angle + 50MP telephoto lens combination. The Pro version is rumored to include a 2.5x telephoto lens + 5x periscope telephoto lens combination, along with a Samsung large-sensor main camera, catering to high-quality imaging needs.
