8月11日晚7点，小米创办人、董事长兼CEO雷军开启2022年度演讲正式开启。演讲以“永远相信美好的事情即将发生”为主题。雷军在演讲中分享了他人生低谷的故事，以及从挫折中得到的馈赠。

雷军表示，盘古失败后，他曾长期沉浸在失败的情绪中，失去了理想也彻底失去了斗志。4月底辞职后经历了半年的迷茫期，经常和朋友去泡吧，开始喜欢重金属摇滚，甚至曾调研在三里屯开酒吧。

但与此同时他发现了更有趣的事情，也就是CFIDO中国惠多网，从此雷军在论坛频频发帖，一度发帖量高到论坛排名第一，最后成了论坛的版主。当时曾有人他惋惜，觉得他是在“不务正业”。

但雷军不这么认为，他回忆，当了半年版主后，他的心情逐渐恢复，并在这个过程中得到了意外收获，小米社区的诞生与他当年当版主的经历有直接联系。雷军认为：“娱乐有时候反而是最好的学习方式，因为不带任何目的学东西，学起来特别快。“”

雷军也在论坛里认识了马化腾和丁磊。
