网站描述：烟台南山学院是由国家大型民营企业南山集团投资30多亿元兴办、教育部批准的普通本科高等院校。学校地处胶东半岛气候宜人的新兴海滨城市烟台龙口，现有南山及东海两处校区。南山校区紧邻国家4A级旅游景区—南山景区；东海校区位于渤海海滨森林公园内，校园北500米是天然海滨浴场，西1000米是亚洲最大的滨海国际高尔夫球场。学校现设有机电工程学院、自动化工程学院、软件工程学院、商学院、工商管理学院、信息科技学院、旅游管理学院、机械工程学院、艺术学院、外事翻译学院等二十三个二级学院。建校十几年来,学校坚持以服务经济、服务社会为宗旨，遵循市场经济规律和高等教育规律，坚持以人为本，全面协调，可持续发展的科学发展观，建立起适应经济建设和社会发展要求的高素质、技能型、应用型人才培养模式。目前，学校在校学生近两万人。
