网站描述：南京邮电大学是国家工业和信息化部与江苏省人民政府共建的高校。在长期的办学过程中，人才培养质量高、毕业生社会声誉好。目前已形成了以工学为主体，以信息学科为特色，理、工、经、管、文、教等多学科相互交融，博士、硕士、本科等多层次教育协调发展的格局。学校的前身是1942年诞生于抗日烽火中的八路军战邮干训班，1958年经国务院批准，在原邮电部南京电信学校和南京邮政学校的基础上组建为本科院校，定名南京邮电学院，2005年经教育部批准，更名为南京邮电大学。几十年来，学校坚持与时俱进，形成了“勤奋、求实、进取、创新”的校风，综合办学实力和整体办学水平不断提升；1978年成为全国改革开放后首批招收硕士研究生的高校；1998年获得博士学位授予权；2007年获准设立博士后流动站。
