网站描述：四川音乐学院创办于1939年。1939年3月初，我国话剧运动的先驱、著名戏剧教育家熊佛西先生创建了“四川省立戏剧教育实验学校”，设戏剧科。同年11月，增设音乐科，改校名为“四川省立戏剧音乐实验学校”。我国戏剧界知名人士陈白尘、叶丁易、张季纯、杨村彬、陈治策、章泯、吴茵、肖锡荃等先后任教戏剧科，我国著名音乐家郎毓秀、蔡绍序、王云阶、马革顺、许可经、俞鹏等先后任教音乐科。1941年春，学校更名为“四川省立技艺专科学校”。
