According to test data from foreign blogger iAppleBytes, compared to the previous version of iOS 16.4, upgrading to iOS 16.5 did not negatively affect the battery life of only two models, namely the iPhone 8 and iPhone 13. The remaining models have experienced a slight decrease in battery life.
After upgrading to iOS 16.5, the model with the most significant improvement in battery life is the iPhone 13, which has an approximately 32 minute increase in battery life compared to iOS 16.4. The iPhone 8 has increased its battery life by 7 minutes to 2 hours and 54 minutes. The iPhone 11 has reduced its battery life by 12 minutes after the upgrade.
