Recently, Samsung showcased a scrollable OLED panel called RollableFlex at the SIDDisplayWeek 2023 held in Los Angeles, USA, which can be used to solve the portability of large screen devices. It is understood that the length of the scroll screen when unfolded reaches 254.4mm, while it is only 49mm in a retracted state, which can be extended up to 5 times in length.
Compared to previous scroll screens or concept products on the market, Samsung's scroll OLED screens on display this time have further expansion in length, achieving a 5-fold expansion. However, traditional scroll screens may only provide up to 3 times expansion. By curling the screen, it will be more convenient to carry some large-sized displays. However, the Samsung RollableFlex scroll screen has not yet released a business plan.
