Ma Yongsheng mentioned that from the trend of energy transformation, green and low-carbon transformation has become a grand trend of the times. At present, 133 countries and regions around the world have put forward the goal of carbon neutrality, which forces the energy structure to accelerate its transformation to low-carbon and non carbonized. The transition period from carbon peak to carbon neutrality in developed countries is generally 50 to 70 years, while our transition time is only 30 years, so we are very urgent. We will face even more arduous tasks of energy conservation and carbon reduction. It is imperative to accelerate the optimization of China's energy structure, progress in energy technology, and improvement of the energy system and mechanism, and take the path of green and low-carbon development.

Ma Yongsheng stated that from the perspective of the driving force of energy transformation, original technological breakthroughs have become the core driving force for green and low-carbon energy transformation. At present, the continuous breakthroughs in low-carbon and zero carbon negative negotiation technologies represented by clean and efficient utilization of fossil energy, renewable energy storage and integration with multiple energy sources, and carbon sequestration and carbon sequestration technology have led to a continuous decrease in the supply cost of green and low-carbon energy. The construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system is accelerating. It can be foreseen that with the continuous improvement of green and low-carbon technology level and economy, the pace of energy transformation and upgrading will continue to accelerate.

He stated that in the key path of green and low-carbon transformation in the energy and chemical industry, stabilizing oil and gas production, and reducing carbon emissions through structure are very important. In fact, in the new journey of our country's construction, energy demand will continue to increase. Domestic oil and gas vehicles need to coordinate and ensure national energy security and green and low-carbon development, especially our country's energy endowment. Our crude oil import proportion exceeds 70%, and natural gas exceeds 40%. In this case, as the energy and chemical industry, this is the first responsibility to achieve a higher level, more sustainable, and greener oil and gas storage increase, One is to increase the intensity of oil and gas exploration and development, adhere to the principle of combining land and sea, emphasizing oil and gas, and advancing both conventional and unconventional approaches, firmly putting the energy rice bowl into one's own hands.

In addition, we need to promote the leapfrog development of natural gas. Natural gas is the most realistic choice for China's energy transformation. Before 2024, it will mainly play a supporting role in reducing carbon, coal, and replacing coal. After 2040, it will play a partner role in renewable energy. Natural gas, one carbon, four hydrogen, is the cleanest energy source among fossil fuels. Especially, we need to vigorously promote unconventional natural gas exploration and development, and add more high-quality natural gas to the energy supply, Focus on breaking through the exploration and development technology system of undersea generated shale gas, focus on tackling shale gas geological engineering technology integration series, and integrate underground optical fiber monitoring.

Furthermore, we will accelerate the construction of green oil and gas fields, enhance the winter swimming degree of proven reserves, improve quality and efficiency through integrated and intelligent technologies, and use technologies such as digital basins and smart oilfields to promote energy conservation and consumption reduction throughout the oil and gas production process. We will strengthen efforts to control carbon emissions and reduce carbon emissions from the source.

Ma Yongsheng said that throughout the terminal project of the whole industrial chain, in addition to the carbon emissions, there are still about 36% of carbon emissions in the entire production process. From this link, refining and chemical business is the top priority of carbon reduction, at least one of them. At the industrial level, we should accelerate the improvement of concentration ratio of refining and chemical industry, promote the construction of integrated, large-scale, incentive and intensive production capacity, and improve the level of saving and efficient use of asset resources.
