IT Home reported on October 16th that the DuoWOA team has recently released a new set of Windows drivers for the first and second generation SurfaceDuo. The most noteworthy change is the initial support for SurfaceDial, a monitor accessory that Microsoft has long forgotten. General system stability improvements to enhance user experience.
The following are the updates for SurfaceDuo2 (which is still a proof of concept, so there is nothing special):
Merge most of the general changes of SurfaceDuo (first generation) into SurfaceDuo2
Solved the issue of touch function failure in recent versions
Update some system drivers to the latest October version
General system stability improvements to enhance user experience.

Microsoft launched SurfaceDial in October 2016, along with three compatible devices: the first generation SurfaceStudio, SurfaceBook, and fourth generation SurfacePro. Users can adjust volume, browse web pages, etc. through SurfaceDial, and complete artistic creation through a series of adaptive software that calls controls, drawing tools, or other options. According to different usage habits, users can use it on the desktop or on the screen.
IT Home noticed that Microsoft seems to have abandoned this accessory because the latest Surface devices no longer support SurfaceDial and there are no subsequent products available. However, seven years after its release, SurfaceDial was still sold on Amazon for $75.99 (25% lower than the original price).
