According to tipster Evan Blass on X, renders of the Samsung Galaxy A06 have surfaced. The images show two color options, silver and black, with an overall design similar to the previous Galaxy A05.
The renders reveal a waterdrop notch design, a 6.7-inch flat display on the front. The back houses a dual camera setup, while the phone measures 167.3 x 77.9 x 8.0 mm. The right side features volume buttons and a power button integrated with a fingerprint sensor, while the bottom features a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Based on information from GeekBench, the Galaxy A06 will be powered by the same Helio G85 chipset as its predecessor, meaning it will still use a 4G network. The benchmark page shows 6GB of RAM, but a 4GB version is expected to be released. It will come pre-installed with Android 14.
Other sources have revealed that the Galaxy A06 will feature a 5000mAh battery with support for 15W or 25W charging.
While the design remains similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy A06 still boasts some hardware upgrades. The Helio G85 chipset and 6GB of RAM provide a smooth user experience. Meanwhile, the 5000mAh battery and fast charging technology offer extended battery life.
Currently, Samsung has not officially announced the release date or price of the Galaxy A06. However, based on leaked information, the phone is expected to be released soon.
