Recently, multiple official platforms of Meizu, including Weibo, WeChat, etc., have uniformly changed their names to "Starkey Meizu," including Starkey Meizu Technology, Starkey Meizu Meizu Home, and Starkey Meizu Care. This move marks the official transformation of Zhuhai Meizu into Starkey Meizu, with the main body changing to Wuhan Starkey Meizu Technology Co., Ltd. While the Meizu brand will still exist and continue to launch smartphones and other electronic products, including the unveiling of its first car model this year, the company's core has undergone a significant shift.
Starkey Meizu Group was established on March 8, 2023, originating from the Starkey strategy initiated by Li Shufu and Shen Ziyu in 2017. In 2021, Starkey Era Company was formed, announcing its foray into the XR and high-end mobile phone sectors. In July 2022, Starkey Era strategically invested in Meizu Technology, not only realizing its entry into the smartphone field but also using Flyme as the core interaction system for its intelligent cockpit, leading the development of vehicle systems for two car models.
Starkey Meizu Group was co-founded by Li Shufu and Shen Ziyu, with Shen Ziyu serving as Chairman and CEO of Starkey Meizu Group.
