According to digital blogger Digital Chat Station, OPPO's upcoming flagship device will be the first to feature BOE's X2 Deep Micro-Curved screen, offering a choice of 1.5K and 2K resolutions. The 1.5K version will be launched with the OPPO Find X8 Pro, while the 2K version will debut globally with the OnePlus 13. This is reported to be one of the best smartphone screens BOE has released to date.
Digital Chat Station claims that the BOE X2 screen boasts significant upgrades in full-screen display consistency, color accuracy, eye protection, brightness, and more. It also integrates OPPO's self-developed technology to further enhance screen performance. Notably, the BOE X2 screen utilizes the advanced 8TLTPO technology. Compared to the traditional 7TLTPO technology, 8TLTPO adds an extra set of pixel reset transistor circuits, thereby increasing the pixel refresh rate. The main advantage of this technology lies in its ability to support direct refresh rate switching. This means users can instantly boost the refresh rate to 120Hz with a simple touch, even from a 1Hz refresh rate, without any intermediate refresh rate transitions, delivering an even smoother visual experience.
Beyond screen innovation, the OPPO Find X8 series boasts impressive core configurations. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 platform and equipped with a Glacier battery, providing users with powerful performance and long-lasting battery life.
