In the subsequent earnings call, Lu Weibing, Xiaomi Group Partner, President and Head of International Business, revealed the sales performance of the Xiaomi MIXFlip foldable phone. According to Lu, the Xiaomi MIXFlip has been a complete sell-out since its launch, and there is still a lengthy delivery time for orders placed.

Interestingly, the user base of this phone exhibits some fascinating characteristics. Lu mentioned that 32% of Xiaomi MIXFlip users switched from iPhone, indicating that Xiaomi has successfully lured a portion of Apple users. Additionally, women account for a remarkable 55% of the user base, demonstrating that the MIXFlip's design and features cater well to female preferences.

Xiaomi's first compact foldable, the MIXFlip, was launched on July 19th, 2024, with a starting price of 5,999 yuan. The phone's main highlight is its 4.01-inch multi-functional outer screen, offering a full, deep micro-curved form factor that provides a comfortable, smooth feel. In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi MIXFlip is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform, equipped with a large 3500mm2 VC for efficient heat dissipation from the SoC.

On the imaging front, the Xiaomi MIXFlip boasts a Leica Summilux lens, featuring an 800MP "Light Hunter" sensor for high dynamic range photography. It also stands alone among foldable phones in offering a Leica 47mm floating telephoto lens, capable of focusing as close as 9cm.
