Recently, the benchmark scores for Samsung's new smartphone, SM-S721U, unexpectedly surfaced on Geekbench. The device is powered by a downclocked version of the Exynos 2400 processor, optimized for performance and power consumption. This processor employs an advanced 1+2+3+4 core architecture, with its Cortex-X4 core clock speed reduced to 3.11GHz, while the frequencies of the other CPU cores remain unchanged. In the Geekbench tests, SM-S721U achieved a single-core score of 1996 and a multi-core score of 5678. While lower than the standard Exynos 2400, it still demonstrates impressive performance.
According to industry insiders, SM-S721U is likely the upcoming Galaxy S24 FE. This new model is expected to feature the Exynos 2400e chip, boast a 4564mAh battery capacity, and utilize a flat screen design. The Galaxy S24 FE will be available in five color options: Blue, Black, Graphite, Green, and Yellow, catering to diverse consumer preferences.
The phone will also include a 6.7-inch 120Hz display with a peak brightness of 1900 nits, ensuring users enjoy a smooth and vibrant visual experience. Notably, the Galaxy S24 equipped with the Exynos 2400 boasts significant performance improvements, almost matching the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered version.
This highly anticipated new device is expected to make its official debut at Samsung's Galaxy S10 Tab series launch event in October.
