Market research firm TechInsights' latest data shows that during the second quarter of 2024, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 continued to hold the top three spots on the US best-selling smartphone list. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and S24 followed closely behind, ranking fourth and fifth, respectively. While Samsung still lags behind Apple in market share, its flagship models' strong performance is noteworthy.
Compared to the previous quarter, the list saw some new entries. Lenovo-Motorola's Moto G5G (2024) and Moto G Power 5G (2024) made their debut in the top ten, surpassing the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G and iPhone 14. This signifies Motorola's significant progress in the mid-to-low-end market.
Aside from the top five, Apple had two more models in the top ten - the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14. Samsung also had one model in the top ten, the Galaxy A54 5G. Additionally, Google had several models in the top twenty, showcasing their aggressive strides in the Android market.
