Just weeks after its release, Google's latest flagship smartphone, the Pixel 9 series, is facing a wireless charging issue. Numerous complaints have been surfacing on the Google Pixel Community forum, as reported by TechIssuesToday. Users are experiencing "abnormal behavior" when charging their Pixel 9 Pro XL wirelessly, particularly with MagSafe pucks and Mous MagSafe cases.

Commonly reported issues include charging abruptly stopping shortly after initiation, intermittent charging with MagSafe Qi chargers, and excessive heat generation during wireless charging. This has led some users to compile a list of five wireless chargers that fail to reliably charge the Pixel 9 Pro XL. Even Google's own second-generation wireless charging stand is experiencing similar problems. While the phone recognizes the stand, it fails to charge, despite the charging icon appearing on the screen.

Google has acknowledged the issue and confirmed that they are working on a solution. Currently, users are advised to temporarily rely on wired charging or explore solutions provided by Google's support team.
