IT Home, September 18th - According to the list published by the State Intellectual Property Office on September 3rd, Xiaomi has obtained a design patent for "Mobile Phone and its Main Body," showcasing the design of a three-foldable Xiaomi phone. IT Home's inquiry into the patent report page reveals that Xiaomi submitted the design patent on December 21st, 2022, presenting two design schemes and sharing multiple design sketches.
Based on the patent sketches, the Xiaomi three-foldable phone features a horizontally placed camera system on the back, aligning three cameras horizontally with an LED flash. Notably, the patent sketches also display the other side of the phone, hinting that this three-foldable model might adopt a similar horizontal folding scheme to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series and potentially feature an outer screen.
