With new releases from Huawei and Apple, the flagship phone competition is heating up this year. The highly anticipated OPPO Find X8 series is finally generating significant pre-launch buzz.

Today, OPPO's Chief Product Officer and OnePlus founder, Pete Lau, shared real-life comparison photos of the OPPO Find X8 and iPhone 16 Pro on social media. The images reveal that the OPPO Find X8's bottom bezel is almost as narrow as the iPhone 16 Pro's, featuring an equal-width design across all sides. According to the digital blogger @DigitalChatStation, the Find X8's bezel control rivals the iPhone 16 Pro, and he recommends choosing the white version.

The same blogger previously revealed that the Find X8 has been leaked, showing that ColorOS 15's icons haven't significantly changed. AI Xiao Bu will support page flips for switching, and Fluid Cloud will be centered like a Dynamic Island. Based on leaked images, the OPPO Find X8 features a centered punch-hole screen and incorporates a feature akin to iPhone's Dynamic Island.

Another blogger, @iIceUniverse, shared what appears to be a design sketch of the OPPO Find X8 Pro. The sketch outlines a quad-camera setup on the rear, arranged symmetrically. The flash is situated at the upper left of the device, with the Hasselblad logo in the center of the module. Four cameras are arranged around the certification logo. Additionally, the blogger posted an image and stated, "First look at the key design of the OPPO Find X8 series! Did you see the button?" The image depicts a phone with a straight-edged frame and three buttons. Besides the power and volume keys, the third button is supposedly designed for photography purposes, potentially providing one-touch access to imaging features.

Configuration-wise, the OPPO Find X8 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch straight display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It's likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip. The rear camera system will comprise a 50MP main sensor, 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 3x periscope telephoto lens. It will house a 5600mAh battery and a glass body, available in black, white, blue, and pink color options.

The OPPO Find X8 Pro is anticipated to have a 6.8-inch slightly curved screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip. The rear camera system will include a 50MP main wide-angle lens, 50MP ultrawide lens, 3x telephoto lens, and a 10x periscope telephoto lens. It will sport a 5700mAh battery and a glass body, offered in black, white, and blue color choices.

Besides the Find X8 series phones, OPPO will launch multiple new products on October 21st, including the OPPO Pad 3 Pro tablet, OPPO Enco X3 earbuds, a new color option for the OPPO Watch X smartwatch, and magnetic ecosystem accessories.

The OPPO Pad 3 Pro tablet is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 Leading Edition processor and offer a 16GB+1TB storage configuration. The OPPO Enco X3 earbuds will feature an 11mm bass driver and 6mm treble driver, powered by the Hengxuan BES2700 chip. They will support 50dB adaptive active noise cancellation, incorporate Dynaudio co-tuning, custom dual DAC, 3 microphones + VPU sound pickup bone sensor, support a 1Mbps transmission rate + 192kHz/24bit lossless audio wireless transmission, have IP55 + Bluetooth 5.4 + LHDC 5.0 + earbud handle slide gesture control, a single earbud battery capacity of 58mAh + earphone box 566mAh, supporting 10W wired charging and wireless charging.

The OPPO Watch X will feature a new white strap with a dense perforation pattern, targeting the sports scene. The OPPO magnetic power bank has a button on the side, four indicator lights at the bottom, and the words "OPPO" and "Magnetic Power Bank" on the front.
