Samsung Electronics is in the midst of intensive testing for its upcoming foldable phone, the Samsung W25 (for the mainland Chinese market) and the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition (for the South Korean market), with a scheduled launch expected in October this year. This device will be built upon core components provided by Hiflex, specifically high-density interconnect (HDI) substrates. These substrates boast advanced micro-blind via technology, significantly increasing the density of circuit lines on the PCB board. This technological advancement provides crucial support for the phone's sleek and slim design.

In pursuit of an even thinner and lighter phone, the Samsung W25 foldable phone has opted to forego digital converter technology.
