The release date of iQOO 13 is approaching, and information about its imaging system has recently surfaced online, attracting widespread attention. According to rumors, iQOO 13's main camera will feature a 50MP Sony IMX921 sensor. The ultrawide and telephoto lenses will utilize a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 sensor and a 50MP Sony IMX826 sensor respectively. It will support 2x optical zoom and has abandoned the periscope design.

Compared to the camera configuration of the previous generation iQOO 12, iQOO 13 has made some adjustments. The iQOO 12 was equipped with a 1/1.31-inch OmniVision VCSOV50H sensor with a single pixel size of 1.2m, a 50MP main camera, and a 64MP OV64B periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom and OIS optical image stabilization. Its ultrawide camera used a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 sensor.

It's noteworthy that the iQOO 13 has upgraded its imaging system, replacing both the main camera sensor and the telephoto lens sensor. However, it has dropped the periscope design and reduced the optical zoom magnification. This adjustment might be aimed at enhancing the phone's slimness or lowering costs.

Beyond the imaging system, iQOO 13 will also see comprehensive upgrades in performance, system, battery life, and screen. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, which Qualcomm will unveil on October 21st. It will come pre-loaded with OriginOS 5.0, delivering a powerful performance experience. Simultaneously, iQOO 13 will equip a 2K resolution screen and ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint recognition, ensuring a clearer, more refined visual experience and more responsive unlocking.

The battery capacity of the iQOO 13 has also been significantly enhanced, increasing from 5000mAh in the iQOO 12 to 6000mAh, and supporting 100W wired fast charging, guaranteeing extended battery life and fast charging speeds. Additionally, iQOO 13 will reinstate the classic RGB light strip design of the first generation, and its waterproof and dustproof rating will be enhanced to IP68, providing better protection against accidental splashes and dust in daily life.
