Chen Xi, Design Director of OPPO ColorOS, shared in a post today that ColorOS 15 has rebuilt the Android graphics framework from the ground up. It features the industry's first parallel rendering architecture, enabling multiple animations to respond concurrently and achieve unified rendering. Animations are precise and responsive, delivering twice the smoothness. These changes have been introduced in a limited capacity on select models earlier this year. The smooth experience of ColorOS 15 extends beyond parallel animations and encompasses numerous details, which will be discussed in detail next month.

Zhou Yibo also mentioned that ColorOS 15's Fluid Cloud feature is very useful, offering real-time flight information from entering the airport to boarding. It also excels in scenarios like taking bullet trains, hailing rides, and ordering food, making these processes more convenient than before. He also added that ColorOS 15's animations are incredibly smooth, and users can experience this firsthand when the Find X8 series launches.

Previously, Chen Xi had showcased ColorOS 15's Fluid Cloud on Weibo. This feature, similar to Apple's Dynamic Island, displays notification content prominently. When using ride-hailing services, the app's progress is displayed within Fluid Cloud and on the home screen, ensuring timely and reliable data updates.

Additionally, ColorOS 15 supports cross-platform file transfer between iOS and Android, making it very attractive for iPhone users who are considering switching to OPPO. 2024 OPPO Developer Conference is scheduled for October 17th in Hangzhou, where more features of ColorOS 15 will be announced.
