As the launch date for the new vivo X200 series approaches, vivo has been ramping up its pre-release marketing efforts. Following the earlier reveal of design and detailed specifications, the latest teasers focus on screen size and material, hinting at the introduction of a compact flagship model, the vivo X200 Pro mini, which has sparked excitement among users.

Han Bo Xiao, Product Manager at vivo Communications Technology Co., Ltd., recently shared on social media that both the standard and Pro versions of the vivo X200 series will feature a four-micro-curved display, but with slight size differences. The standard version will be relatively smaller, close in size to the vivo X100, while the Pro version will be larger. Han Bo Xiao emphasized that the vivo X200 standard version will offer the best hand feel in the series due to its slimmer profile while maintaining narrow bezels, thanks to the micro-curved display design.

Han Bo Xiao further indicated that all three new models of the vivo X200 series will employ custom-designed screens developed by vivo, specifically tailored to achieve certain goals. The cost of customization and procurement is said to be in the hundreds of millions of yuan. Based on the feedback in the comment section, the screen size of the vivo X200 standard version is speculated to be 6.6x inches.

Meanwhile, tech blogger @Digital Chat Station has also shared information about the vivo X200 series. It's revealed that the series will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, with the compact model potentially being the vivo X200 Pro mini. Han Bo Xiao also confirmed that the Pro mini will be exceptionally compact, with a narrow width and comfortable length. Despite its smaller size, the Pro mini boasts a larger battery capacity than the Pro max and a more luxurious camera configuration, delivering a full-featured, top-tier experience.

According to leaks, the vivo X200 Pro and Pro mini will be equipped with a Sony LYT-81850 1/1.28-inch super-large sensor main camera, supporting True-TCGHDR+VCS3.0, single-frame 86dB HDR+0.95e- signal-to-noise ratio+real-time HDR preview, signifying a comprehensive upgrade in imaging capabilities.

Additionally, the vivo X200 series may adopt the same glass fiber material used in the vivo XFold3, aiming to reduce weight and thickness. The series is expected to feature the upgraded OriginOS 5.0 operating system, focusing on AI features. The standard version is likely to sport a 6.4~6.5-inch 1.5K custom-made four-narrow-bezel screen from a domestic manufacturer, available in black, white, blue, and pink colors. The Pro version will boast a 6.82-inch 2K+120Hz 8TLTPO four-micro-curved screen, supporting single-point ultrasonic touch, and will be offered in black, white, and blue color options.
