IT Home, October 6th Mark Gurman, a Bloomberg reporter, revealed in the latest episode of PowerOn that the highly anticipated AppleIntelligence feature will officially launch on October 28th alongside iOS 18.1.

According to Apple's official announcement, the AppleIntelligence feature will be available for free to iPhone 15Pro, iPhone 16, and iPhone 16Pro users. Mac or iPad users with an M1 or later chip will also have access to the feature.

Initially, the AppleIntelligence feature will only support American English. In December, English dialects from regions including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK will be added. Support for languages like Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish will be rolled out progressively throughout 2025.

Based on Gurman's previous leaks, a revamped Apple Siri, powered by AppleIntelligence, is expected to arrive in January next year.

Gurman also provided details about the development timelines and release dates for other iOS 18 related versions:

• iOS 18.2 is expected to be internally completed in early November and will be released in December.

• iOS 18.3 is expected to be internally completed by the end of the year and will be released in January.

• iOS 18.4 is expected to be internally completed in early February and will be released in March.

iOS 18.1 will bring the first wave of AppleIntelligence features, including:

• A lightweight Siri update: A new interface and faster response times.

• Writing tools: Offering a more convenient writing experience.

• Photo cleanup: Helping users better manage their photos.

• Notification summary: More convenient notification management.

Subsequently, iOS 18.2 is expected to introduce additional features, including:

• ImagePlayground: An image editing tool.

• Genmoji: The ability to generate emojis.

• ChatGPT integration: Integrating with the ChatGPT chatbot, providing users with a more powerful conversational experience.

The introduction of the AppleIntelligence feature will undoubtedly bring a more convenient and intelligent user experience to Apple users.
