During the OPPO ColorOS 15 Seamless Dual Engine Technology Communication Conference today, OPPO announced that the Find X8 series and OnePlus 13 smartphones will be the first to feature ColorOS 15. ColorOS 15 introduces a groundbreaking "Aurora" and "Tide" dual engine design, completely reimagining the system architecture from the core to its applications. It also debuts parallel animations, enabling cards, folders, and widgets on the desktop to operate simultaneously and seamlessly switch between tasks.

According to previous reports from IT Home, the OPPO Find X8 series will also be among the first to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 flagship processor. The launch date is set for October 24th. Zhou Yibao, Product Director of OPPO Find series, previously revealed an image of the Find X8's front, stating that it boasts a "true equilateral design", referring to the physical shape rather than just visual aesthetics. Previously leaked images of the OPPO Find X8 show a device with a straight-edged design, a circular camera module on the back with a "HASSELBLAD" logo in the center, and a circular cutout in the top-left corner, presumably for a flash.

Based on previous teases from OPPO, the Find X8 series will feature "seamless calling" capabilities across all models, becoming the first to receive the Rheinland Intelligent Eye Protection 4.0 certification, introducing a revolutionary "lights-out" eye protection technology. Other notable features include an AI glare removal function for photos, 50W wireless charging with reverse charging capabilities, and IP68 dust and water resistance across the entire series.

The OnePlus 13 has already passed China's 3C quality certification. It is rumored to feature a combination of 100W wired and wireless charging, along with a large-capacity silicon battery.

ColorOS 15's dual engine design aims to provide a smoother user experience. Its parallel animation functionalities enable users to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between them effortlessly. The debut of this feature on the OPPO Find X8 series and OnePlus 13 signals ColorOS 15 as a leading force shaping the future of mobile operating systems.
