At the opening speech of the 2024 vivo Developer Conference this morning, vivo officially announced its Blue Heart Intelligent AI strategy, declaring its intention to leverage artificial intelligence to restructure system experiences, creating a more intelligent and user-friendly user experience.

vivo's newly announced Blue Heart Intelligent AI strategy will focus on three key areas to comprehensively reshape the interaction experience between people, devices, the digital world, and the physical world:

• Reimagining Human-Device Interaction: vivo will utilize AI technology to enhance device intelligence, enabling more natural and convenient human-machine interaction.

• Reimagining Human-Digital Service Experience: vivo will leverage AI technology to provide users with more personalized digital services, enhancing user experience.

• Reimagining Human-Physical World Connectivity: vivo will leverage AI technology to seamlessly connect devices to the physical world, providing users with a more convenient and intelligent lifestyle.

vivo also revealed new advancements in its Blue Heart Voice Large Language Model, which supports features like natural conversation, real-time translation, simulated human voice, and emotional understanding, demonstrating powerful language comprehension and generation capabilities. Furthermore, the Blue Heart Little V intelligent assistant now supports dialects such as Sichuanese, Miao, and Cantonese, further enhancing its practicality across various scenarios.

To bring AI technology closer to users, vivo has also made strategic deployments in AI technology on-device implementation, including features like call summarization, document summarization, information extraction, intent understanding, and local knowledge graphs, all achieved on-device. This means users can directly access AI technologies locally on their devices without relying on cloud services, enhancing user experience while safeguarding user privacy.

vivo has also emphasized the importance of AI technology security and privacy protection, and will launch a large-scale on-device review function to further safeguard user privacy.
