vivo officially announced this morning that the vivo X200 series will feature the world's first BlueMap x Sony LYT-818 custom-designed sensor. This sensor utilizes a 22nm advanced process, delivering lower power consumption and stronger algorithms. The company boasts that its photographic performance "rivals" one-inch sensors, while video capabilities "surpass" one-inch sensors.
Jia Jingdong, Vice President of vivo and General Manager of Brand and Product Strategy, previously revealed: "The X200 series will carry the latest 'Blue Technology' - the most advanced BlueMap custom-designed sensor and image chip, the industry's leading 'top' Blue Ocean battery life system, and top-tier chips powered by Blue Crystal chip technology stack."
Based on previous reports from IT Home, a blogger had disclosed that the vivo X200 Pro/Pro mini phones will premiere the 22nm Sony LYT-818 50Mp 1/1.28 ultra-large main camera, supporting True-TCGHDR + VCS 3.0, boasting single-frame 86dB HDR + 0.95e- signal-to-noise ratio + real-time HDR preview. The Pro will exclusively feature a 200Mp f/2.6785mm ultra-large telephoto lens + V3 + image chip, covering a focal length range of 15mm-85mm, with the lens marked "200Mp." The mini will share the LYT818f/1.5723mm 1/1.28 ultra-large main camera and feature an f/2.57 70mm medium telephoto lens. The entire series supports long-focus macro photography.
The vivo X200 series smartphones are scheduled to debut on October 14th at 7:00 PM, with the launch event taking place at the Water Cube in Beijing.
